Sailing into Freedom,
For the greater part of life
I lived in a world of limits & boundaries.
Being confined within a challenged body,
I could but wonder what freedom felt like.
From the very first solo-sailing,
I became the allness of freedom.
With the freedom of motion across the water,
I quickly sailed into the freedom of my heart.
There I became the lyrics of an unsung song,
and the motion of a dance
that was waiting to happen.
 Sailing introduced me to
'freedom, within & without'!
When I am sailing
I am one with the water & Earth,
and I am still invited to be myself!

And more good news:

Naples Boat Show, a success! - with numerous volunteers, visitors, donors - raised $400. Thank you to all who were there to help and who visited.  Our FWF family grew with many wanting to assist Freedom Waters Foundation with their boats and connections.  We look forward to incorporating as many as possible.

Yachting Magazine featured FWF in a wonderful article.

We had another wonderful Weller Day Yacht outing in Ft. Lauderdale, aboard M/Y Francine.  Thank you to Captain and Crew!

Get Ready, Get Set - We are almost at Feb. 14, 2010 - our special day - Painting My Tomorrow - at the Philharmonic in Naples -Join us!

The children that we serve will display their artwork at the Philharmonic Center for the Arts in Naples, Feb. 14, 1-4 p.m.  All their art will be on sale and they will be there for you to meet in person!

Freedom Waters Foundation's name is now Trademarked. Thank you to volunteer Susan Maccario for her donation of cost in doing so and her implementing the action with The Livingston Firm in Naples, who donated their services in doing so!

Conley Family/Second Chance Foundation, long time friends and supporters has generously donated $5000 to Freedom Waters Foundation. 

Please note.......there are times that I wonder about FWF's longevity and it is ALWAYS at those times, that these wonderfully generous gifts appear.  And, I am reminded that we are doing exactly what we are suppose to be doing and that Freedom Waters Foundation will be around for a very long time.

FWF Marine Merchandise Program - FWF continues to accept marine items as a donation for our booth at the Dania Flea Market in March 2010.  Please contact us for additional information.

FREEDOM WATERS'  "Thank you from the Heart" program is a great way for you to show someone how special they are or to thank a client for their business, mark a significant birthday, anniversary or to give a very special gift -  consider donating $500 to FREEDOM WATERS to underwrite a day's outing on the water for a child with cancer, his/her family and friends.  FREEDOM WATERS will coordinate all arrangements for the boat, captain, food & beverages, as well as, the special guests.  And, FWF will send a special plaque acknowledging your donation to you and your honorary.
